Pure water is extremely important. The problem is humans. There are too many of us and we want too many products that create pollution. In my opinion, *everyone* should have a water purifier in their home. Personally I like the "gravity fed" systems (I'm also a fan of the alkaline ionizer purifiers). Gravity fed is good, it's pretty much foolproof. It just requires a little bit of effort to pour water into the top each day!
Thats what I do. I'm using the Berkey. The FDA is hassling them about their filters and told them they can't sell filters. Berkey is fighting back but don't know how it will end up.
I'm using an Alexapure which is essentially an identical design and the filters are interchangeable with Berkey (but in theory better than the Berkey filters).
i'm interested in knowing more in case I can't get anymore Berkey filters. What is the theory on them being better than Berkey? And, are they silver impregnated?
Good to know. If I can't get the Berkey filters I will get the Alexapure. Also, I learned from Richie From Boston that you can stick an air compressor to the filter hole on the bottom of the filter and force compressed air through the filter to clean the filter.
Here is how: they now have an 'independent' company called Boroux selling the black filters with tons of disclaimers on their site that they are not affiliated with Berkey wink wink. It was because the filters are too effective they got recategorized by the EPA as a pesticide company due to the silver in the filters (which makes them such effective antimicrobial filters). Berkey is suing them back. In the meantime check out Boroux! They just recently went live for preorders of set of 2 black filters. I love my Crown Berkey and load it w fluoride filters. Even my dogs drink only Berkey water. PS for all others, boil your water to neutralize the fluoride. Its hard to remove...
No wonder, years back, when I was looking to replace my filter with a Berkey....their site held as proprietary info what their filters were made of.
So, I let it go. I still find honesty to be the best policy, and all that.
I'm sure the gov and "medicos" and "scientismists" have many ways they similarly use silver. Berkey didn't do this research all alone, nor as pioneers in the field.
I experienced the same same when business owners were more interested in protecting (during convid) their asses/assets than acting like intelligent persons.
Money seems to just reduce all to meaninglessness.
The worst polluters are government agencies and government contractors. The most horrifyingly polluted place in the world is Hanford, Washington, and it wasn't free markets that made it that way. It was stolen by the government (eminent domain is theft) in 1943 and polluted egregiously and deliberately because nobody in the government has ever cared about their neighbours.
There is in fact plenty of water, and it falls where it is needed. Yes, it is certainly true that non-metal desalination systems are effective and low cost today, but most of them involve energy. And there is also plenty of oil in the world, but that is also made scarce through a very large number of government interventions going back to the late 19th Century.
I totally agree that eminent domain is theft. One of the things government is best at, theft. It's awful how much they pollute everywhere. Air, water, earth, nothing escapes their overreach.
It was a very bad time, 1943, and a lot of terrible things were done, not only in the USA, by governments, mostly to their own people, and also to the people of adjacent countries. In many ways, the Boer war never ended.
Be VERY careful and do your research. RO demineralizes water, specifically removing calcium and magnesium needed for the body to function properly. The health effects from those minerals alone removed from your drinkingbwater are severe and onset happens very quickly. Demineralizing the water is not effective. I have a close friend who is a colon hydrotherapist and over the four decades of treating her patients she saw the worst health in those who used RO systems almost exclusively for drinking. Profoundly sicker than those who used no filtration at all on municipal water systems full.of contaminants. Please please do thorough research first. Each filtration method has its pros and cons.
Great stack...of course they've poisoned our water and they will never de-salinate...no profit. I remember back when the ghoulz - the Bushes in particular, were buying up all the aquafers...they want full control over everything we need to survive.
I remember when they were trucking in all of the hazardous waste from East Palestine, OH to TX to dump it into our wells. We stopped them - but did we? They paused for a week, but we never heard what happened...there was nothing I could find to follow up on - you can bet they waited a week or two, and when everyone forgot about it - dumped it right in...
They decide where the next droughts will be, who gets water and who doesn't and what poisons are put in and where...depending on which land grab they want at the moment. Water Wars - It is in their arsenal - one of many weapons at their disposal to eventually displace us all...
Debbie is right on all counts though. As soon as I learned they could make it rain I never believed another drought story. But to make it cheaper for them to scoop up the land, makes diabolical sense. I remember the Bushes doing that too. I hate these WEFFERS that want to kill us off slowly while they laugh.
I did it once with about 150 pounds of air pressure. It blew a fine aerosol mist out of the filter. I also wondered about filter damage but as far as I can tell the filters seem ok.
I have a distiller that makes a gallon of water, will make 3 gallons a day. Now I have a dehumidifier running to help with an unfortunate and hopefully temporary flea problem 😝 I put the water from the dehumidifier into the distiller. Of course both of these use electricity, a smart thing for me would be to get a good filter for backup.
The distiller cost like $300 I think, and has been making water for me for over 10 years.
I'm experimenting with a solar generator to see how a couple of appliances do on it...just in case....I live in a very sunny area so it's pretty easy to hook up the panels etc Pretty sure that would run a distiller. I'm not the electrition around here though. My son comes over and does that stuff for me. Hubs and I are right brain artists, LOL.
if you have a lot of sun, you might be able to just use sun light directly to distill some water. I think I have seen passive solar systems that float on the ocean that do this as well.
I still remember this story from NJ when it broke but this issues goes back even further with antidepressants being put in the water supply in various states.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpJ-pLYmDHU The Beach Boys sang of this when I was in High School. My last big report in high school was on water quality in America. Then we drank 25% recycled sewage water and it was known to be bad... 1973. Now its toxic syrup for public tapwater.
Heather thanks for talking about the water! Also thanks for your last post about your dad and the JFK assassination. I guess it was really hard for him to live with that knowledge.
Here is my favorite guy on weather modification. and in this video he tells us why Bill Gates is buying up so much land (to grow biofuels for jets)
Thank you Ratio. Love yours too. ❤️

Saw you other comment. Men can be so annoying some times. I'll leave it at that. 😂
🤣 Sometimes I wonder why I don't give people on substack the same compassion that I do for the people who I love in my life
At the end of our conversation I actually wanted to give him a hug I thought he was kind of cute having that belief, almost like a child.
It's good to be selective. 🤣

The FDA needs to be defunded.

As I understand it, testing showed the stock Alexapure filter as filtering more out than the Berkey filters. Yes, they are silver infused.
Good to know. If I can't get the Berkey filters I will get the Alexapure. Also, I learned from Richie From Boston that you can stick an air compressor to the filter hole on the bottom of the filter and force compressed air through the filter to clean the filter.
That's an intriguing idea. Any risk of damage? Perhaps best to do with low pressure air?

HOw about we just stop pissing in the water for a change?

Spot On! Hanford and the Columbia River damage make me sick, never never should have been allowed, but here we are.
It was a very bad time, 1943, and a lot of terrible things were done, not only in the USA, by governments, mostly to their own people, and also to the people of adjacent countries. In many ways, the Boer war never ended.
Very true. And it continues on unabated for whatever reason.

I really need a reverse osmosis filter thingy!

Thank you for the info. I am aware of it and remineralize my water. 😊

uh oh, Debbie is going "all the way down."
Love the T-shirts...and thx for this...

Didn't they buy a whole aquifer in Uruguay? Do they plan to ride out the tribulation/bad reset down there?
I think it was Paraguay but yes, that's what I heard too.
I did it once with about 150 pounds of air pressure. It blew a fine aerosol mist out of the filter. I also wondered about filter damage but as far as I can tell the filters seem ok.
Just one big problem with RO and that is the waste water from the process. We need a better solution.
