Here is an idea that needs some memes:

Jet pollution will be visible when humidity is high up there and temperature is less than -30 or -40 degrees F, depending on other conditions. If you check Flight Radar 24 or some other flight tracking app, you will see just as many flights on days when the skies are clear.
