Ha! Love the ammo tribute to mom. She was probably severely hypothyroid if she was freezing all the time. That's how I can tell if I forgot to take my last dose of T3 when I was supposed to - I get freezing, even in the heat of summer. When the AC went on the fritz during a heat wave last summer, I deliberately only took about half as much as I should have for a few days until I could get it fixed. Wouldn't recommend that as a long term strategy, but it does help during a 'heat emergency' (but not if you're having to work outside in it, that's a whole 'nother level of dangerous if your body cannot regulate it's thermostat properly)...
I'm so glad I waited to finish putting together my mother's day post. Now I just have to resist the urge to steal ALL of these! I really did laugh so hard I cried over the Significant other. And quick story about Rod...in my lean times in L.A. I did some celebrity personal assisting...worked for Stephen Collins (yeah I know) and for Zsa Zsa ( what a lunatic nightmare) and other psychopaths, and I interviewed to be Rod's personal assistant. $$$ was amazing, but, I saw that insane freak show coming, just from the interview...I was hired and turned down the job...
And yikes, I guess there is a slight advantage to having your hybrid fetuses taken (by ETs or military?...who knows) Never had any pureblood children...and I know, everyone is so happy that they did, but I'm still thrilled that I didn't? I can't imagine having someone as out of control as myself to raise...
